- An opportunity to make a difference with refugee youth
- Work with humanitarian entrant and vulnerable migrants
The Lebanese Muslim Association is one of the largest Muslim community organisations in Australia. We provide multiple social, educational, recreational and welfare services to a broad demographic of communities.
We are seeking an experienced social worker or caseworker to be responsible for the delivery of casework, referral, advocacy and information to eligible clients. The candidate will oversee and implement assessment and support to clients that align with the priority areas in the National Settlement Framework.
We prefer candidates with experience working with newly arrived migrants or refugees. The role requires an ability to provide low and medium intensity casework support to clients and families.
Most importantly, we want someone passionate about settlement services and building community partnerships to create the best outcome for our clients. You need a strong focus on strengths, increasing capacity for resilience and promoting a positive settlement outcome.
On offer to the successful applicant is a 12-month part-time or full-time contract starting immediately where possible; a remuneration package commensurate with professional experience will be offered.
If you believe you have what it takes then we would love to hear from you!
