The Lebanese Muslim association is one of the largest Muslim community organisations in Australia. We provide multiple social, educational, recreational and welfare services to a broad demographic of communities.

There’s an opportunity for a caseworker to join the team. We are seeking a passionate and experienced social worker with casework experience to oversee and implement assessment and support to clients that align with the priority areas in the National Settlement Framework.

As the ideal candidate, you will be an experienced caseworker with a background preferably in servicing Refugee communities and social work; have a track record of building strong relationships within the settlement and mainstream sector; conducted community consultations and are able to provide low and medium intensity casework support. Most importantly, you are passionate about servicing the refugee community, take initiative, work to tight deadlines, and are results and outcomes driven.

On offer to the successful applicant is a 12-month part-time or full-time contract starting immediately where possible; a remuneration package commensurate with professional experience will be offered.
