Junior Sporting Club

The Lebanese Muslim Association (LMA) is proud to support local junior sporting clubs with sponsorship grants of up to $5,000. This initiative aims to strengthen community engagement, promote active lifestyles, and support non-profit sporting organisations that align with LMA’s values. Eligible clubs must be based within our service area and provide opportunities for community impact.

Applications open annually
To apply, submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) outlining your organisation’s mission, sponsorship purpose and expected impact. Sponsored clubs must acknowledge LMA’s support in their events and materials and provide a brief impact report.

Who is eligible to apply for sponsorship?

To be considered for sponsorship, your organisation must:· Be a registered non-profit or community-based sporting organisation.
· Operate within LMA’s service area.
· Demonstrate financial responsibility and active community engagement.
· Align with LMA’s values and contribute positively to the local community.
· Offer promotional opportunities for LMA, such as branding and event participation.

How much funding is available?

The LMA Board has allocated a specific budget for sponsorships. The maximum amount available for each organisation is $5,000.

How can my organisation apply for sponsorship?

The sponsorship process follows these steps:
1. Expression of Interest (EOI): Submit an online application form when the sponsorship period opens.

2. Application Submission: Provide details about your organisation, the sponsorship amount requested and expected community impact.

3. Deadline Compliance: Ensure your application is submitted within the set timeframe.

How are applications assessed?

LMA evaluates applications based on the following criteria:

Community Benefit
– How the sponsorship will positively impact the local community.
- Brand Alignment with LMA’s values and mission. Financial Viability
– The organisation’s ability to manage funds responsibly.

What happens after my application is submitted?

- All applications are reviewed, and shortlisted applicants may be contacted for additional information.

- The LMA Board makes the final sponsorship decisions.

- Applicants are notified of the outcome within two weeks of the board’s decision.

- Successful applicants must sign a Sponsorship Agreement outlining expectations and reporting requirements.

What are the obligations of sponsored organisations?

-Organisations receiving sponsorship must: Acknowledge LMA’s support in promotional materials, events, and social media.

-Submit a Sponsorship Impact Report within two months of the end of season, detailing how the funds were used and the community impact achieved.

Can my organisation apply again next year?

Yes, organisations can reapply annually, as long as they have fulfilled all sponsorship obligations from previous years.

What happens if an organisation does not meet its sponsorship commitments?

Failure to meet sponsorship obligations may result in ineligibility for future funding.

How often is this sponsorship policy reviewed?

LMA reviews the sponsorship policy annually to ensure fairness, transparency, and alignment with community needs.
