Leaders For Tomorrow
Welcome to the Lakemba Mosque Youth initiative. Our core purpose is to create and nurture the next generation of Muslim leaders who are grounded in Islamic values while staying connected to both the Muslim community and the broader society.
We aim to foster a sense of belonging, leadership, and community service among our youth to ensure they become well-rounded individuals who contribute positively to the world around them.

Held periodically, these evenings feature distinguished guest speakers who provide insights and share experiences on topics pertinent to youth and Islamic life. Following these engaging talks, a barbecue is hosted, offering an opportunity for participants to enjoy a meal and further cultivate relationships within the community.
School Holiday Programs
Our school holiday programs are tailored to maximize the potential of breaks by offering a variety of excursions and workshops. These activities aim to deliver educational and enjoyable experiences that help develop various skills while reinforcing Islamic values. From visits to historical sites to interactive workshops, our holiday offerings ensure continuous learning outside the classroom in a dynamic and engaging manner.
Sunnah Sports Program
Aligned with the traditions of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the Sunnah Sports Program includes activities such as horse riding, wrestling, and archery. These sports not only provide physical exercise but also instill discipline, focus, and a sense of community. Participants are given the opportunity to acquire new skills, maintain physical fitness, and enjoy camaraderie in a supportive environment.
Arts and Crafts
The Islamic Arts and Crafts sessions encourage participants to explore their creative abilities while immersing themselves in the rich cultural and artistic heritage of Islam. These workshops, which range from calligraphy to handmade crafts, offer participants the chance to express creativity and gain insights into Islamic art and history. The sessions are ideal for those interested in art or seeking to experience something new.

Ramadan Youth Night
Ramadan represents a period for reflection, worship, and community service. During the Ramadan Youth Night, participants engage in various charitable activities, including feeding the homeless and packing lollie bags for the broader community to celebrate Eid. This evening is not solely about gathering for prayer and iftar but also about embodying the spirit of giving and compassion inherent in Ramadan.
