    Master Builders Association

    Master Builders Association specialise in apprenticeship opportunities in Constructions. Candidates who apply for an apprenticeship with Master Builders should have:

  • A Drivers Licence
  • Own Transport
  • Construction Induction Card (White Card)

    Pre-Apprenticeships

    Pre-apprenticeships are short taster courses that run anywhere between 3-4 weeks. These courses give you insight and firsthand experience in the industry of your choice.

    White Card

    Specifics of the Course:

  • One full day training course.
  • Bring 100 points of identification on the day of the course
  • Requires intermediate English skills (written and oral)
  • Mandatory for any work on construction sites, including traffic control work

  • Specifics of Booking

  • Requires a refundable bond of $100
  • Minimum age of 14

  • LMA Eligibility Criteria

  • Client must be under 25 years of age
  • Client has lived in Australia less than 5 years
  • Client must hold a humanitarian or migrant visa (subject to eligibility)
  • Client must live work or study in Liverpool, Fairfield or Canterbury-Bankstown Local Government Area

    Traffic Control

    Specifics of the Course:

  • Two courses in one: Traffic Controller (Blue card) and Implement Traffic Plans (Yellow card)
  • Two day theory course followed by half day assessment for blue card and 3 day work placement for Yellow Card (organised by the training provider)
  • Client will receive a 90 day certificate to work after the course. However, successful completion of the course requires a 3 day work placement to achieve the Yellow Card.
  • Requires intermediate English skills (written and oral)

  • Specifics of Booking

  • Requires a refundable bond of $150
  • Will require a White Card in order to work in the field. White card can be booked before the Traffic Control course takes place
  • Minimum age of 16

    Fork Lift

    Specifics of the Course:

  • 2 day course followed by 1 day assessment
  • Requires advanced English skills (written and oral). A $50 re-booking fee is required for those who fail the course first round.

    First Aid

    Specifics of the Course:

  • One day course with an online assessment
  • Online assessment must to be completed before the day of your course, and you must achieve a score of above 80% in order to pass
  • Requires advanced English skills (written and oral)
  • Course includes a short exam at the completion of the training

  • Specifics of Booking

  • Client must commit to completing the pre-assessment prior to attending the training
  • Requires a refundable bond of $100
  • No minimum age requirement

  • Client has lived in Australia less than 5 years
  • Client must hold a humanitarian or migrant visa (subject to eligibility)

    Security Training

    Specifics of the Course:

  • 102 hours of training that are completed across 10 days
  • Training runs across 10 days for 2 weeks (Monday to Friday)
  • Requires advanced English skills (written and oral)
  • Prior to being booked for training you will complete a Literacy, Language and Numeracy (LLN) test with the training provider
  • Once you have passes the LLN test you will be enrolled into the training course

  • Minimum age of 18
